Another recipe: Moms In Touch Crunch

One of our German exchange student daughters requested this recipe:

Moms In Touch Crunch*

Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups peanuts (salted is OK, but not with skins)
1 ½ cups rice crispies
1 cup Captain Crunch cereal
6 cubes (1/2 package) almond bark (also called Vanilla flavored coating) (6 cubes is equal to 10-12 ounces)

Process:
Line cookie sheet or jelly-roll pan with waxed paper.
In a very large mixing bowl, mix peanuts, rice crispies, Captain Crunch together.
In another bowl, melt almond bark in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir, melt some more, until it is completely melted, but don’t let it burn. Pour melted almond bark into the other bowl and stir quickly. Spread out onto cookie sheet. Let cool. Break into small chunks. Can be dropped onto waxed paper by spoonfuls, if desired.

*You can rename this recipe if you want. I call it this because my friend and I made many batches of this to give to the school teachers when we were in a Moms In Touch prayer group when our kids were young.
