Can You Call It a Lifer If it is Dead?

Gary and I went for a hike at the Cedar Ridge preserve (formerly called Dallas Nature Center or Greenhills). Along the way I found a dead bird in the path and took some photos. To the best of my ID abilities, I think this is is a White-Eyed Vireo.

If I’m allowed to count it, that brings my life list up to 320!

In other news, we’re having a low-key Memorial weekend. Rachel is working hard on her course which she needs to do because of going on vacation to Houston. Gary is pretty far behind on his work too, so everyone works to catch up.
